According to Foresight News and monitored by Yu Jin, VIRTUAL broke through $5 today, with a market capitalization reaching $5 billion. DeFiance Capital transferred 500,000 VIRTUAL tokens (approximately $2.33 million) to Bybit 40 minutes ago.
DeFiance Capital is the leading investor in Virtuals Protocol, having acquired 10.5 million VIRTUAL tokens through an investment in February 2024. They began selling VIRTUAL in May 2024 and have sold a total of 7.2 million VIRTUAL tokens at an average price of $1.48: 2.2 million VIRTUAL tokens were sold on-chain; 5 million VIRTUAL tokens were transferred to Bybit. They currently still hold 3.3 million VIRTUAL tokens (worth $15.68 million). It is unclear what the cost of the tokens obtained through the investment by DeFiance Capital is (the opening price of VIRTUAL was $0.01 and it should not be higher than this figure).
