According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on December 30, Polkadot's parent company Parity Technologies released the 2025 roadmap, focusing on three main directions: smart contract upgrades, performance optimization, and ecological construction.

In terms of smart contracts, Asset Hub will support EVM compatibility and Solidity contract deployment, while launching the RISC-V based lightweight virtual machine PVM.

In terms of performance upgrades, elastic scaling will be achieved through a multi-core architecture, and zkSNARK technology will be used to optimize block production.

In ecological construction, DOT will become a universal fee token across Rollups, and the JAM SDK will lower development thresholds. Additionally, the roadmap includes improvements such as shortening the DOT unlock waiting time and unifying address formats.
