1. An important step towards the large-scale application of ContentFi

TaleX, the world's leading blockchain content ecosystem and digital content asset trading platform, announced that on December 2, the production team of the Hollywood short drama (Silvertail Shadows: Bitcoin Alpha Reborn) distributed the $250,000 income generated on the Web2 platform to all STS01 copyright token holders through the TaleX platform.

This is the first time the traditional short drama industry has introduced income distribution into the cryptocurrency field, marking an important step towards the large-scale application of ContentFi.

TaleX is pioneering and leading a new Web3 track — ContentFi.

First, bringing investors and money in short dramas from web2 to web3;

Second, bringing the income earned from short dramas in web2 to web3.

This is equivalent to bringing the most core part of the entire film and television industry — cash flow — into the cryptocurrency world.

The income from this show in web3 is being distributed in real-time to all STS01 users.

The snapshot time for income distribution before web2 will be kept confidential.

When producing a show, the cost is about $200,000. This is the first time, costing $100,000. If we do this once more, we'll break even; all subsequent income will be profit.

Recently, various tokens have become popular again, and many friends are asking when our project will have its TGE, when will it drive the market?

This will put pressure on the project team.

Before the platform is widely used, it is difficult to provide actual value support for tokens.

The more shows there are, the more token pools are needed, requiring more TALE.

Many friends joke: everyone likes projects that only drive the market without doing anything.

We are a project that only does things, driving the market through actions.

There is an example with Ripple, where the project team holds a large amount and does not drive the market much, resulting in a weak presence; Ripple is an example of value appreciation achieved through the expansion of use cases.

The main function of Ripple is the exchange of foreign currencies between different countries — for example, exchanging Singapore dollars for US dollars, first purchasing Ripple with Singapore dollars, then transferring Ripple to the other party’s account, and finally, the other party converts Ripple into US dollars.

Although Ripple has a weak presence, it has been expanding the use of its products in various scenarios over the years, connecting with banks and showing them how it can work, providing liquidity pools and various auxiliary services, gradually building the supply chain.

Today, XRP is already the third-largest token, second only to BTC and ETH, and the core reason is the recognition from traditional big funds.

TaleX is also negotiating show by show, diving into this track, exploring what services practitioners need, and then providing corresponding services. For example, liquidity pools, promotion, and dividend needs. As we continuously meet these needs, our understanding of this industry deepens. When the market grows, you will become an irreplaceable product and will receive a reasonable valuation.

2. Redistribution and what true freedom is?

Regarding the topic of redistribution, an economist mentioned that money is spent on infrastructure and not distributed to the people; this issue also exists in the United States, where many Americans and the middle class have not seen wage increases for many years and are living in hardship.

Many people call for redistributing money, giving more to the common people, but why is it not feasible?

When you do not play a role in the ecosystem and it does not affect ecological development, no one will think of your interests.

Many tech companies in the US, which are very profitable, do not provide dividends. They first consider how to establish a base on Mars, how to upgrade Starlink, etc.

How can this issue be resolved?

There is no space to solve this in traditional web2.

In web3, every transaction you make can freely express your intentions. A core principle of the free market economy is that all resources in a free market can flow and be allocated freely. People can negotiate based on circulation and allocation to decide the distribution of future earnings.

In the past, it was believed that consumers are rational beings who would spend money on the most cost-effective products and not circulate to more expensive products.

For example, if two companies sell a product for $5 and ten companies sell it for $10, consumers will flock to the $5 product, and the $10 product company will go out of business.

Then, these two products priced at $5 increase to $10 and $15, leaving consumers to only pay $10 or $15 for purchase; they are continuously harvested by merchants.

In web3, if a company tells consumers, my product sells for $10, but if you spend with me, you will receive my tokens. Regardless of whether the product price goes up or down, you can use tokens to consume, I recognize their value and am willing to provide dividends.

If I sell for $5, you get a smaller share; if I sell for $10, you get a larger share. You don’t need to worry that one day when I gain market power, I will exploit everyone.

Just like BTC and ETH demonstrate, we don’t expect everyone to be a rational person. If you use my product, you can easily obtain tokens, and as we scale up, you can enjoy the benefits.

In the content film and television industry, it is similar. In China, there is a lot of free content, while in the US, finding free content has become difficult because a few companies have monopolized the content. They tell you that not only is there no free content, but there are also no plans to pay according to content; you must subscribe, and it must be on an annual basis.

Although you seem to have the option to choose different companies, like Netflix, Disney, and others, they are quite similar.

To put it bluntly, having choices does not mean true freedom — just like you can choose which coin to trade on a CEX, but these are choices provided by the exchange and do not represent freedom.

However, MeMe coin gives us a new choice — you can have true freedom when you can create supply yourself.

If I want to watch a TV series and own a TV station, I hope to buy the token of that TV station and become its owner. I can even partner with a group of people to start a TV station.

In the past, there was a saying in politics: without freedom, there are no civil rights.

Today, users can negotiate with Binance; if you don’t list our meme, I won’t promote your VC tokens; many exchanges have surrendered to memes, which is the victory of the community and represents the true embodiment of freedom.

Now, it's the same for TaleX. The shows we produce are all RWA tokens and come with dividends. If you see that all the coins in the market do not have dividends, you have no choice but to accept that there are no dividends; however, now we have done this, we have dividends, and more people will support this upgraded coin. Eventually, exchanges, VCs, and institutions will yield to these more advanced coins.
