Reflecting on Trading
Every weekend, when I am alone, I always think a lot.
What is the essence of trading? Is it predicting the future or insight into human nature? I think it may be both. The fluctuations of the market reflect the emotions of the participants, and these emotions are often closely related to human nature. The difficulty of trading lies not in understanding the market, but in understanding oneself. Whether it is greed, fear, or being overly sensitive to short-term fluctuations, these psychological factors are the true keys that determine the outcome.
Life is not unlike trading. We are always making choices, and each choice shapes our future selves. Trading has taught me two things: first, risk is unavoidable, but it can be managed; second, desire is endless, but it needs to be moderated.
I am like this, without any restraint. Even after losing my dearest one, I couldn't stabilize for long and ended up back on the old path. Now, there is nothing left to lose, and in fact, I am not anxious at all. Human nature is like this; reaching such a state of mind early on may prevent one from failing so miserably.
Life is like trading, and trading is also like life.
