BlockBeats news, December 17, Avalanche announced that its major upgrade Avalanche9000 is officially live on the mainnet. This upgrade significantly reduces the cost of subnet deployment and lowers the basic fee for the C chain from 25 nAVAX to 1 nAVAX, a reduction of 96%. The Etna module introduced with the upgrade supports independent chain operation, optimizes the validation model, and enhances cross-chain messaging capabilities. According to Blockworks Research, after the upgrade, the transaction volume on the C chain is expected to increase by about 50%.
