Dogecoin suffered a vulnerability attack, causing 69% of nodes to crash
According to PANews, Dogecoin recently suffered a "Dogereaper" vulnerability attack, causing 69% of nodes to crash. Sequentia developer Andreas Kohl implemented the attack using only an old laptop.
The vulnerability was disclosed by ecash developers Tobias Ruck and Roqqit. Tobias Ruck first discovered this vulnerability while developing Doged and found a segmentation fault in the original code during testing of the ported code.
Tobias Ruck said they had patched the vulnerabilities before the attack and ensured network security, emphasizing the importance of exercising caution.
