Not all opportunities are opportunities. Opportunities outside of the trading system are 'shackles'. These shackle-like opportunities are either 'the so-called drawdown you want to deal with' or 'rapid V reversal'.
Drawdowns are perfectly normal, and a rapid V reversal is also a special type of drawdown; when your signal occurs, just close the position. Trying to capture all fluctuations is a delusion; if you can capture the fluctuations within the system, you have already gained a lot. An opportunity is just a signal; after opening a position, it can either be a profitable trade or a losing trade. Any opportunity that does not meet the trading standards is not an opportunity. Categorically filtering out some opportunities is the only way to achieve stable profits and continuous improvement.
