EverclearDAO officially upgrades $NEXT to $CLEAR, launching a new economic model. The new voting binding system allows users to lock CLEAR for up to two years, receiving non-transferable vbCLEAR for voting and sharing system profits. (This design concept is quite similar to Curve.)
The mainnet test version is now online, aimed at solving the liquidity fragmentation problem of modular blockchains. At the same time, a new round of staking and airdrop activities is about to begin, with a total reward of 1.75 million $CLEAR. Holders of NEXT will officially upgrade to CLEAR on December 6th. Exchange users do not need to take action, while on-chain users need to manually swap.
Everclear is also the first protocol based on the settlement layer, which can significantly reduce the time and costs for users to cross chains. It is built using the Arbitrum Orbit stack, enabling the transfer of any chain asset to be completed within 30 minutes, with costs controlled between 0.008% and 0.011%.
