I have the impression from looking at the crypto market, and based on the performance of Adventure Gold (AGLD), a gaming coin based on Ethereum, that gaming cryptocurrencies will have a significant recovery in a very short time. This is not investment advice, I am just sharing a very personal opinion. Please review each project yourself.
In the short term, if Bitcoin remains bullish, I see Ronin (RON) recovering its $3-something mark. It has all the potential; just go to its website and see everything it produces. Axie Infinity (AXS) is coming from $12 and could reach $8 in the remainder of the year. Illuvium (ILV), which fell from $150 to $41, could easily double its price and even recover its March value. This recovery percentage is something that some meme coins have comfortably achieved.
ACE (FUSIONIST) has a significant ability to recover from dips. It is coming off the $15 mark and could reach between $5 and $7 if Bitcoin continues its upward path. Although Bitcoin is not helping altcoins much, it seems that one by one they are being called upon in turn to calm the spirits among investors.
Saga (SAGA) should not disappoint. Just 24 days ago it hit $3.33 with Bitcoin quite low compared to today, it fell along with the other coins from $3 and has not stopped visiting $2.40, a little less or a little more, as is happening with most. In this same month we will probably see it doubling or tripling its price. I see it more around $4 without much effort. As I told you before, it comes from $3.33 three weeks ago and $2.47 about three days ago. It will not be difficult for it to climb even to $5 or $6, but this will only happen if altcoins recover their real value. We all know that most of these coins are still undervalued.
What I am sure of is that with the marriage between artificial intelligence, metaverses and games with realistic graphics and significant complexity, 2025 will be the turn of games.
Regarding meme coins, I would like to make a brief comment. This phenomenon that often baffles many adults is important to understand. The world is controlled by young people and social media. Teenagers do not want to know about complex narratives; they feel comfortable with memecoins and even identify with them. It is a way to make quick money due to their volatility. Also, as I said, young people are not interested in the complex narrative of most altcoins. That is why they very easily put their money in coins like the squirrel, the dog with a hat, PEPE, Floki, or Doge. So they will continue to hit highs that will multiply the money, while we, the old school, will continue to defend narratives that provide solutions for humanity and not in coins based on pure speculation.
I wanted to share with you this very personal assessment. There are other game and metaverse currencies, but it is difficult for me to study them because their price is extremely low. There are others from 2024 that I have not sat down to evaluate their recovery capacity, but I will do so. And I will gladly do whatever I can contribute to you. You should also know that altcoins, as I never tire of repeating, are below their real value and for now we have to wait.
