Ledger Live has partnered with decentralized finance protocol THORChain to launch native cross-chain swaps on its platform. This new feature allows users to swap assets between different blockchains via the Ledger Live app. For example, swapping Bitcoin (BTC) for Ether (ETH) is now easier.

This is the first time Ledger has integrated a decentralized finance protocol to enable native swaps. THORChain is a decentralized liquidity protocol that allows users to swap assets between different blockchain ecosystems without relying on wrapped assets.

Ledger Live users can use this new feature by going to the app’s “discover” page. This integration aims to provide Ledger users with more flexibility and convenience.

There has also been speculation that THORChain could integrate with Binance’s Web3 wallet. THORChain founder John-Paul Thorbjornsen did not directly confirm these speculations, but noted that "this is just the beginning."
