According to BlockBeats, on October 17, Base co-founder Jesse Pollak announced that the Base research team successfully launched a proof-of-concept (POC) for the cross-L2 call standard RIP-7755. This standard aims to achieve seamless cross-chain interoperability between different Ethereum Layer2 networks, especially for mainstream second-layer networks such as Optimism and Arbitrum. RIP-7755 is applicable to blockchains that comply with the EIP-4788 standard and can currently verify the status of the OP Stack chain and Arbitrum. This progress is expected to enhance the interoperability of the L2 network and promote the further development of the blockchain ecosystem.
