[Alchemy Pay partners with Yellow Card to expand access to cryptocurrencies in Africa]

Alchemy Pay has announced a partnership with Yellow Card, a fintech company operating in 20 countries in Africa, to make it easier for people in Africa to purchase cryptocurrencies using bank transfers and mobile payments through Alchemy Pay’s payment gateway. This cooperation will benefit countries such as South Africa, Rwanda, and Uganda, making it easier for users to purchase cryptocurrencies with local currencies.

Alchemy Pay also integrated Samsung Pay into its virtual card service earlier this month, expanding the functionality of existing payment options, including Google Pay, allowing users around the world to make encrypted payments in stores and online. By partnering with Yellow Card, Alchemy Pay can leverage its payment infrastructure to process over $3 billion in transactions and support multiple local payment methods.

This collaboration will simplify the process for African users to participate in decentralized finance, creating new financial opportunities for millions of people. Gillian Darko, Yellow Card’s chief of staff, said that this collaboration will promote financial growth in Africa and bring seamless access to stablecoins and decentralized finance to more people.

In addition, in June this year, Alchemy Pay cooperated with Scroll, Ethereum’s Layer-2 extension solution, to further expand its services and support more than 50 legal currencies across 173 countries.
