Stride, the Cosmos ecosystem liquidity staking protocol, said that based on the current rate, the inflation of STRD tokens in the first year will be 2.5 million, far lower than the planned 9.5 million, and may be corrected through governance proposals.
In addition, community governance has just passed a proposal that will distribute 10% of the staking rewards collected by Stride to STRD stakers, funds that were originally allocated to the protocol itself. The Stride Foundation stated that Stride is an open source project and STRD stakers can vote to improve token economics.
