Beware, a scam on the Hamster Combat theme: a fake drop with the theft of funds from crypto wallets.

Two channels at once, which gained subscribers from tapal tasks and to which we are subscribed, renamed themselves “HAMSTER 🐹 KOMBAT / MONEY” and “HAMSTER 🐹 KOMBAT / GIVEAWAY” and began to scam their audience. In total we are talking about 130 thousand users.

The mechanics are simple:

1. They give fake screenshots of the team’s fake announcement about the giveaway.

2. They say that to drop you need to have TON in your wallet. The more coins you have in your wallet, the larger the drop you will supposedly receive. They give instructions for purchasing TON.

3. They bombard the audience with a bot that supposedly distributes coins and teach them how to connect it to their#Tonkeeperor other crypto-wallet.

4. They publish screenshots of fake correspondence with supposedly happy recipients of drops worth tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars.

5. When a scammer bot connects to a wallet, people lose their funds.

The audience is warmed up with social engineering, awakening greed and fueling haste.

Looks like a trend. And it may concern not only the topic of Hamster Combat, but also other projects from which drops are expected.

Unfortunately, it is already clear that many people will lose their money without understanding it. We decided not to postpone the fast until the morning.

On the topic of tapal drops, you should only follow official sources. Do not click on dubious links or launch dubious bots. And even real drops that do not raise questions can be received on empty wallets or wallets without critical amounts.
