Even a few hours ago I tried to contact their support again and the answer I got was always the same.

"Our team is working on your request and will contact you if we have a solution" Do they really solve the problems that I and other users are experiencing? Does it really take a long time to do it, even other users have waited more than 1 month and the problem has not been resolved?

Sebanyak 1.365 Bitcoin (setara dengan Rp1,5 triliun pada harga saat ini) hilang begitu saja setelah pengguna mencoba melakukan mint pada Rune 777 LEEROY•JENKINS di Runes yang ternyata dianggap tidak valid.

Runes adalah protokol standar token yang memungkinkan penerbitan token yang dapat ditukarkan di jaringan Bitcoin. Protokol ini memberikan cara yang lebih efisien bagi pengguna untuk membuat token semacam itu.

Mint Dianggap Tidak Valid

Menurut data dari Ord.io pada Rabu (5/6/2024), aktivitas mint pada Rune 777 LEEROY-JENKINS menyebabkan lonjakan biaya jaringan Bitcoin hingga 150 sat/vB, yang membuat 1.365 BTC terbuang percuma untuk mint yang tidak valid.

Pengguna X dengan nama LeonidasNFT menjelaskan bahwa Runes berfungsi seperti lelang. Jika transaksi pengguna tidak ditambang sebelum jendela mint ditutup, mereka akan kehilangan dana dan tidak mendapatkan mint tersebut.

Meskipun pada saat pengguna menetapkan biaya untuk pesanan mereka terlihat seperti mint tersebut akan valid, hal ini tidak menjamin bahwa biaya jaringan Bitcoin tidak akan naik sebelum block berikutnya ditambang. Kenaikan biaya tersebut dapat menyebabkan transaksi lain diprioritaskan di atas transaksi yang dilakukan pengguna.

“Jika Anda gagal memasukkan transaksi Anda ke dalam block, Anda akan kehilangan BTC dan tidak menerima Rune. Begitulah cara kerja protokol ini,” ujar Leonidas.

Nama LEEROY JENKINS berasal dari karakter ikonik dalam game online World of Warcraft yang diciptakan oleh Ben Schulz. Data dari Ord.io menunjukkan bahwa LEEROY•JENKINS memiliki pasokan maksimal sebesar 69,4 juta token.
