A California mother received a $88,000 fine after her children collected dozens of clams they believed were seashells.

"My kids, they thought they were collecting seashells, but they were actually collecting clams, 72 to be exact."

When Daniel Cabrera purchased a five-bedroom property in San Antonio, he didn't expect to find the previous inhabitant still living there along with her aggressive pet goat.

But everyone else on the call was actually an Al-generated deepfake made using publicly available video and audio recordings.

On the video call, the employee was instructed to transfer HK$200 million ($25.6 million), split over 15 transactions, to five local bank accounts.
