**Buenos Aires High Schools to Teach Ethereum and Blockchain**

Argentina’s Ministry of Education has teamed up with ETH Kipu to introduce Ethereum and blockchain technology into Buenos Aires high school curriculums. Starting August 27, students will have the opportunity to learn about blockchain and even participate in internships for hands-on experience.

**Key Highlights:**

- **Solidity Training:** An online course will train 500 students in Solidity, a programming language for developing decentralized applications (DApps).

- **Instructor Preparation:** 30 instructors will be trained to teach Ethereum and blockchain concepts.

- **Career Opportunities:** This initiative aims to equip students with skills to shape future tech landscapes.

ETH Kipu co-founder Paula Doy emphasized that this program will open new career paths and position Argentina as a leader in the global blockchain movement. The initiative follows a successful Ethereum workshop that attracted 200 students, marking the start of broader blockchain education efforts in the region.

**Crypto Adoption in Argentina:**

With a staggering 276% annual inflation rate, Argentinians are increasingly turning to digital assets. The country leads the Western hemisphere in crypto adoption, with significant traffic to major exchanges like Binance. Many locals are buying stablecoins such as Tether (USDT) to preserve their funds' value amidst economic instability.
