**Beware of Scams on Telegram and Web 3.0!**
Many Telegram channels with millions of followers are promoting Web 3.0 investments that turn out to be scams. My friend recently fell victim to one such channel. They were persuaded to invest $10 in a coin, and within a week, their investment seemingly grew to $40K. However, when they tried to sell, their account was locked without reason. The scammer disappeared, and the investment couldn't be swapped on Web 3.0 or Trust Wallet.
This raises a critical question: Is Binance responsible for allowing such projects on Web 3.0? It seems there's a direct benefit for these scammers.
Trust Wallet, in particular, is unreliable. Despite numerous attempts to transfer and swap coins, nothing worked. This issue needs a separate discussion, but itâs crucial to highlight that a channel with 4 million followers can easily scam thousands of dollars from people.
My friend's money is gone, lost to this scam. Be aware, stay vigilant, and never trust these so-called investment opportunities.
