The US SEC today issued “light” comments on the Forms S-1 of issuers of Ethereum spot ETFs, with approval possible on July 2.#Bloombergsenior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted this on his X account:
“UPDATE: We are moving the Ethereum Spot ETF launch date to July 2nd. Heard that the staff sent comments to the issuers today on Form S-1, and they are pretty light, nothing serious, asking for them to be returned within a week. Chances are they will be working on getting them approved next week to get everything completed before the holiday weekend. Anything is possible, but this is our best guess at the moment."
Balciunas's assessments are worth listening to. It looks like there are a couple of weeks before#ETHbegins to rise to new heights (following the example of#BTCafter the launch of trading on the spot Bitcoin ETF).
