Mastercard Good News from Bitcoin Exchange Binance: The Separation is Over!

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, will continue to work with Mastercard.

Payment technologies giant Mastercard announced last year that it had ended its cooperation with Binance. Another giant name, Visa, also stopped producing cards bearing the Binance brand in Europe.

They will be able to process again

Mastercard users will be able to purchase cryptocurrencies again through Binance. Binance branded Visa cards can also be used as before.

According to Binance's statement, withdrawals for Mastercard users will begin at a later date.

“After reviewing Binance's stringent controls and processes, Mastercard has made the decision to allow Binance-related purchases to be made on its network,” Binance said.

“We look forward to supporting other products such as withdrawals in the future,” it said.

They broke up due to legal pressures

Mastercard and Visa distanced themselves from Binance last year.

At the time, Binance was accused of violating the law by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

On the one hand, Mastercard continues its work in the field of Web3. The company launched a review to work more closely with MetaMask and Ledger last year.
