He proposed creating a new type of transaction that includes 3 types of maximum base commissions at once, and thanks to this approach it will be possible to combine 3 types of gas into one harmonious system.
Vitalik Buterin said that there will be an adjustment to the baseplate, which currently uses separate mechanisms for gas execution introduced in EIP-1559 and blobs in EIP-4844.
Previously, Buterin had already discussed a similar idea, putting forward a proposal to introduce multi-dimensional pricing for gas. He wanted to separate different transactions on the blockchain into different types to save network resources.
Presumably, Buterin’s initiatives are dictated by the fact that the network is becoming less and less popular among developers and they are moving to other blockchains and solutions to create their projects.
