Fan submission: Why do I have to trade in cryptocurrencies?
In Shenzhen, my salary is 15k, which is considered average.
My fixed monthly expenses are:
1. Rent: 3k
2. Food expenses: 3k
3. Transportation expenses: 0.5k
4. Clothes and social expenses: 1k
(The above are the most frugal calculations)
I can save about 7.5k a month
The average house price in Shenzhen is 60,000 yuan. If I want to get a foothold, I will need a 50-square-meter house. That is 3 million yuan
If I save all my money honestly, it will take about 33 years. If I take out a loan from a bank, it will take about 50 years to pay it off, which is a lifetime.
But I don’t want to work honestly for a lifetime to get a 50-square-meter house, so I will invest the remaining money in some high-risk but potentially more rewarding fields, such as cryptocurrency. Although I may have nothing, I don’t care, because 7.5k is actually useless. It’s better to gamble on a dream, just like a middle-aged uncle buying lottery tickets. You can say that I am speculating, but I am not wrong. What's more, I have successfully earned 50wu, achieving a goal that I can only achieve in my lifetime.
Am I wrong? Or is this society wrong? Why does my radical behavior seem so reasonable now?
