#Write2ear Navigating #Solana 's Market Turbulence: #Insights and #Opportunities #altcoins $SOL $XRP $DOGE Solana's open interest (OI) and its market value have both taken a hit in the last day, reflecting a broader downturn seen across the cryptocurrency landscape. Despite this setback, traders are holding onto optimism, seeing it as a potential "silver lining." As of April 14, Solana's OI stood at $1.62 billion, marking a decrease of roughly 21% from the previous day, according to data from CoinGlass. OI serves as a measure of the total worth of all outstanding or unsettled Solana futures contracts across various exchanges. At present, Solana's price sits at $138.77, showing an 8.83% decline over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap. The abrupt dip in Solana's price wiped out approximately $36.55 million worth of traders' long positions, potentially disappointing those who were anticipating a surge in prices leading up to the Bitcoin halving on April 20. Similar to Solana, the top 10 cryptocurrencies have witnessed significant drops, with XRP experiencing the most substantial decline of 12.12% over the past day. Dogecoin followed closely behind with a 10.86% decrease, while Cardano trailed slightly at 10.20%. The duration of this downturn remains uncertain, yet traders are holding onto a moderately positive outlook for the broader altcoin market. Noteworthy trader GCR Classic broke their silence on X after more than a year, advising their 273,500 followers on April 14 that the current situation presents a "prime opportunity to invest in high-conviction tokens." Meanwhile, crypto entrepreneur Kyle Chasse suggested in an April 13 post that altcoins could see gains of around 20-30% by Monday. However, on-chain analysis firm Glassnode suggests otherwise. It pointed out that Bitcoin drawdowns during previous "euphoric phases" have been more severe, which many traders use as an indicator for the wider market.

#Write2earn #Bitcoin Faces Pullback: Will #BTC Price Dip Below $60,000? #BitcoinPriceAnalysis #Bitcoin❗️ $BTC Bitcoin experienced a 5% pullback following the lackluster debut of Bitcoin and Ether ETFs in Hong Kong. The question on everyone's mind: Can BTC dip below $60,000 due to high-leverage liquidation? The price of Bitcoin dropped nearly 5% from its intraday peak of $64,734 as market participants showed little enthusiasm for the launch of spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs in Hong Kong. This downward momentum pushed BTC even lower than the previous day's price, driven by high leverages in anticipation of a relief rally. However, the debut of crypto ETFs in Hong Kong failed to impress the market. Adding to the disappointment, U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced their fourth consecutive day of outflows, with over $51 million withdrawn. These crypto investment products have seen three weeks of consecutive outflows, with the most recent week witnessing a substantial outflow of $435 million. The six spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in Hong Kong recorded a mere $12 million in trading volume on their first day, a staggering 383 times lower than the debut of U.S. Bitcoin ETFs. Following the lackluster ETF debut, traders quickly began shorting Bitcoin, leading to a sudden drop in BTC price to $61,451. This triggered a broader selloff in the crypto market, resulting in investors losing nearly $130 billion as the crypto market cap dropped to $2.27 trillion. Over $205 million in liquidations were recorded across the crypto market during this selloff, with $145 million from long positions and over $60 million from short positions. More than 66,000 traders were liquidated, with the largest single liquidation order occurring on crypto exchange Binance, where someone sold ETH valued at $5.03 million. ETH price also plummeted over 5% in the last 24 hours. Crypto analyst Rekt Capital believes Bitcoin is still in a danger zone and could dip below $60,000, but he also hints at a possible rally starting in mid-May.

#Write2earn #BITMAIN INVESTS IN #BEVM : ACCELERATING BITCOIN LAYER2 DEVELOPMENT #BitcoinLayer2 #Web3airdrop BEVM, a Layer2 project for Bitcoin, has revealed an investment from Bitmain, a prominent manufacturer of cryptocurrency mining servers worldwide. The exact amount of the investment remains undisclosed. Founded in 2013, Bitmain continues to hold a significant position in the digital asset mining hardware industry. At one point, its Bitcoin mining machines dominated over 70% of the global market. This investment represents Bitmain's first foray into the Bitcoin Layer2 sector. Gavin Guo, Core Builder of BEVM Foundation, expressed, "Next, BEVM will explore Bitcoin hashrate and the application of PoW ecosystem on BEVM. This could facilitate the transition of trillions of dollars in PoW hashrate assets and a considerable amount of $BTC to BEVM. This will enhance Bitmain's assets and unlock liquidity, enabling a wider range of financial applications within the BTC Layer2 network." BEVM serves as the pioneering EVM-compatible Bitcoin L2 network, based on the Taproot Consensus and utilizing BTC as Gas. Through native Bitcoin technologies like Schnorr Signature, MAST, and Bitcoin Light Node Network, it achieves fully decentralized BTC cross-chain functionality. This enables the seamless integration of BTC into various applications and promotes genuine BTC liquidity circulation. BEVM launched its mainnet on March 28th, boasting over 700,000 user addresses and hosting more than 30 ecosystem projects. Recently, BEVM secured significant financing, with investors including RockTree Capital, Waterdrip Capital, Arkstream Capital, ViaBTC Capital, and nearly 20 other institutions. This investment has valued the company at $200 million post-investment.

#Write2earn Polkabot.AI: Decentralizing AI Education on #Polkadot #AI #Polkabot #DOT $DOT The rapid ascent of Artificial Intelligence has ignited what could be the onset of a new era in knowledge, comparable to milestones like the invention of the printing press or the advent of the World Wide Web. However, alongside its meteoric growth, AI has unveiled certain challenges and risks, such as biases, intellectual property concerns, and the potential for AI model failures. The convergence of Crypto, Internet, and AI in OriginTrail's vision of a Verifiable Internet for AI seeks to address both the promises and pitfalls of this knowledge revolution. The Verifiable Internet for AI aims to mitigate AI's shortcomings by decentralizing the knowledge that AI systems rely on for their solutions. One notable implementation of this concept is Polkabot.AI – an AI education hub on Polkadot, set for full release in the near future with support from the Polkadot Treasury. Leading the charge in developing Polkabot.ai is Trace Alliance, a collaborative platform forging partnerships to harness trusted knowledge in the AI era. This solution brings the vision of decentralized AI to life, transforming how users, from beginners to experts, engage with the Polkadot ecosystem. Polkabot.ai facilitates broader community involvement in building a trusted knowledge base, which Polkabot's AI system utilizes to generate responses. Unlike traditional generative AI approaches, Polkabot employs a novel decentralized Retrieval Augmented Generation (dRAG) method, leveraging the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG). Rather than relying solely on AI-generated responses, Polkabot constructs responses using inputs from the DKG, sourced from the broader Polkadot community. This ensures data provenance, respects data ownership, and enables users to verify each source used in the final response. The trusted knowledge accessed by Polkabot's AI systems will continuously expand through community curation and a process called knowledge mining.

#Write2earn #Avalanche and #Stripe Forge Partnership: Facilitating Cryptocurrency Adoption #CryptoPayments #AVAX $AVAX Recently, the Avalanche C-Chain network forged a partnership with payment giant Stripe, allowing verified Stripe users to buy Avalanche's AVAX cryptocurrency and move it to their wallets. Ava Labs, the brains behind the Avalanche network, unveiled this collaboration in a blog post on April 29. Moreover, eight Web3 applications on Avalanche have tapped into Stripe's platform. According to the blog, Avalanche app developers can now incorporate a customizable widget into their interfaces. This widget empowers users to switch from fiat currency to cryptocurrency using Stripe's platform. Several apps have already jumped on board, including the Avalanche Core portfolio app, staking protocol GoGoPool, Avvy username service, social media platform The Arena, NFT marketplace Zeroone, Halliday wallet, web development platform Pakt, and blockchain games DeFi Kingdoms and Shrapnel. The main goal of this integration is to tackle the "cold start problem" in Web3, where users lack enough funds in their wallets to kickstart transactions on the platform. Stripe will manage KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, payments, fraud detection, and compliance, freeing up developers to focus on their applications. With this integration, Core portfolio users can now set up Avalanche accounts using their Google or Apple ID and load them up via bank transfers, debit cards, or credit cards. Akash Gupta, head of consumer products at Ava Labs, believes this collaboration will propel global cryptocurrency adoption. He remarked, “Core’s integration with Stripe is just another step that underscores our dedication to providing users with intuitive, and streamlined solutions. By further bridging the gap between crypto and fiat, Core continues to pave the way for seamless onboarding and broader consumer adoption of digital currencies in everyday transactions.”

#Write2earn #HongKong Welcomes Crypto #ETFs : A Potential Game Changer in the Global Market #BitcoinETF #HKETF In Hong Kong, a new set of cryptocurrency-focused exchange-traded funds (ETFs) debuted, introducing Bitcoin and Ether ETFs to the city's market. This launch poses a potential challenge to similar products in the US and reflects Hong Kong's efforts to establish itself as a regulated hub for digital assets. The demand for these funds will offer insight into the city's progress as a financial center, aiming to regain its reputation amidst recent political tensions. Despite cryptocurrency trading being banned in mainland China, the new funds present an opportunity for Chinese investors, albeit with uncertainties regarding access. The ETFs in Hong Kong adopt a different subscription and redemption model than US funds, potentially enhancing their appeal. While Hong Kong may lag behind the US in spot-crypto ETF launches, local products are expected to attract attention due to their accessibility, particularly during Asian trading hours. The cryptocurrency market has experienced a rebound since 2022, although recent gains have slowed. Bitcoin and Ether, trading at $63,540 and stabilizing, respectively, remain below their peak values. Regulatory approval of these ETFs in Hong Kong does not signify endorsement of cryptoassets, according to Christina Choi of the Securities and Futures Commission. Investors will closely monitor data from issuers to assess the impact on crypto prices, similar to how data from US funds influences market trends.
