ICP's latest technical application areas:
a) "Chain Fusion" technology: The ICP network can natively integrate other blockchain networks at the protocol level. At present, ICP has integrated Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnets. The ICP network has run Bitcoin light nodes, which makes ICP a 2-layer network of Bitcoin and has the relatively safest cross-chain intelligence (cross-chain is controlled by the entire ICP network through threshold signatures, rather than ordinary multi-signatures).
b) DePIN: The ICP network not only has the function of storing 100% of static data on the chain, but also can run large-scale calculations completely on the chain through smart contracts, which makes the ICP network itself the most ideal DePIN infrastructure. In addition, the UTOPIA project led by the founder of the ICP Foundation is a decentralized cloud project built on the ICP network, which will be a global DePIN project.

Ecological development:
