Morgan Creek Capital CEO predicts Bitcoin price could soar to $150,000 this year
Mark Yusko, CEO of the well-known hedge fund Morgan Creek Capital, said in an interview with CNBC on March 30 that Bitcoin may rise this year, driven by the upcoming Bitcoin halving and spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Reaching a new high of $150,000.
“After the halving, there was a lot of interest in the asset, and a lot of people were afraid of missing out, and we typically hit about twice the fair value in the cycle,” Yusko said. “In the last cycle, the fair value was 30, we made $68,000, $69,000. I think it was probably two this time because there was less leverage. So we made $150,000."
