If you still have this question, it means you haven’t really understood the role that wallet passwords and private keys/mnemonic phrases play in decentralized wallets.
Why can’t I import the wallet password to restore control of wallet assets?
The wallet password is mainly used to encrypt the private key information. For example, you need to enter the password during transfer or other on-chain operations; when importing the wallet with the private key/mnemonic phrase, the wallet password must be set. The password can be modified or reset in the wallet. If the original password is forgotten, you can use the private key or mnemonic phrase to import the wallet and set a new password.
For decentralized wallets such as TokenPocket, the private key/mnemonic phrase is the only certificate for controlling assets on the chain, but the wallet password is not. The password set in the wallet is only used for security protection of the wallet. TokenPocket will not save your password and cannot help you retrieve it, so please be sure to remember the password.

The Importance of Wallet Private Key/Mnemonic Phrase
Private keys/mnemonic words are very important for decentralized wallet users! Users who hold the wallet private key and mnemonic phrase have full control over their assets. All operations are performed on the blockchain, and execution records are transparent and verifiable. Everything cannot be tampered with and is irreversible. However, if you lose your wallet private key and mnemonic phrase, it means that you no longer have control over the wallet assets, and the assets on the chain cannot be retrieved. Unless you can recover your wallet's private key/mnemonic phrase, no one can help you recover your assets.

2. Do not take screenshots or take photos to save the private key mnemonic;
3. Do not upload your wallet private key or mnemonic phrase to the Internet;
4. Do not share your wallet private key or mnemonic phrase with anyone.
