Battle for $1: Who will get there first, SHIB or DOGE?

DOGE came close to this target after peaking at $0.73 in May 2021, but the price subsequently plummeted. Despite Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeting about the cryptocurrency several times, DOGE has failed to regain its previous glory. DOGE's reputation has faded, and investor enthusiasm for the currency is no longer as high as it once was.

DOGE has never topped $0.01, and investors are hoping it will reach the 1-cent milestone and eventually $1. Therefore, both DOGE and SHIB are working towards the $1 goal of making investors millionaires and billionaires.

Who will reach $1 first?

In the race to reach $1, DOGE is more likely to do so than SHIB. DOGE is already close to $1, reaching $0.73, a difference of only 27 cents.

DOGE currently only needs to remove two "zeros" from the index to reach $1. Shiba Inu, on the other hand, has never reached the base $0.01 milestone since its creation in August 2020.

SHIB also needs to remove five "zeroes" to reach $1. Under current market conditions, deleting five "zeroes" in a row may seem like a daunting task.

Additionally, SHIB’s second layer network does not destroy trillions of SHIB tokens and remove them from circulation. This situation may make it difficult for SHIB to remove the two "zeroes" from the chart.

Overall, DOGE is more likely to hit $1 first than rival SHIB. However, when DOGE and SHIB will reach $1 or $0.01 remains a mystery that only time will answer.
