According to Blockworks, Clone, a protocol designed to simplify the trading of non-native tokens for Solana blockchain users, announced that it will launch the public mainnet of Clone Markets and Clone Liquidity tomorrow. The launch will introduce a market for non-native assets on the Solana blockchain through “clone assets” (also known as “clAssets”). The purpose of the protocol is to simplify trading non-native tokens on Solana so that traders can optimize their trades, taking advantage of the blockchain’s fast transaction speeds and lower fees. Clone Markets aims to be a trading platform that enables users to buy and sell clAssets directly. It is designed so that traders can manage their portfolios within the Solana blockchain without having to constantly switch between chains. It will provide liquidity providers with a liquidity system that supports leveraged and cross-margin liquidity pools in exchange for USDC collateral. This single staking source will gain access to each Clone pool simultaneously.
