BIO?

First, let’s understand the basic situation of BIO.

BIO Protocol is a platform for funding and commercializing decentralized science (DeSci), unlocking biotechnology innovations and opportunities for scientific funding.

BIO enables global patients, scientists, and biotechnology investors to collaboratively fund, establish, and own tokenized biotechnology projects and intellectual property (IP).

Token Name: BIO Protocol (BIO)

Total supply of the genesis token: 3,320,000,000 BIO

Maximum token supply: 3,320,000,000 BIO (can be increased through network governance)

Total Launchpool: 99,600,000 BIO (3% of the total supply of the genesis token)

Initial circulating supply at Binance launch: 1,296,529,168 BIO (39.05% of the total supply of the genesis token)

BIO Protocol has undergone multiple rounds of private and public fundraising:

Private fundraising

Before the seed round, the project raised $900,000, with an estimated valuation of approximately $35 million.

In the seed round, the project raised $1.4 million, with an estimated valuation of approximately $69 million.

Public fundraising: The public fundraising process is an open BIO Genesis auction. It consists of 3 rounds:

In Genesis Round 1, the project raised $6.2 million, with an estimated valuation of approximately $85 million.

In Genesis Round 2, the project raised $18.2 million, with an estimated valuation of $142 million.

In Genesis Round 2.5, the project raised $3.5 million, with an estimated valuation of $219 million.

I have calculated that the total fundraising amounts to $30.2 million.

Looking at the project information, this BIO still has innovation. It uses blockchain technology to establish tokenized biotechnology projects and intellectual property. After being listed on Binance, the initial circulating supply is 1,296,529,168 BIO, which is roughly 1.3 billion for ease of memory. The total amount of this token is 3.32 billion, and the remaining supply will not be fully unlocked until 2030. However, we must also note that the total supply of BIO can also be increased through network governance. In simple terms, if there is a need, it can be infinitely issued. Just this point is quite disgusting.

Currently, the pre-trade for the token is based on a circulating supply of 3.3 billion, with prices around $0.88. If calculated based on a circulating supply of 1.3 billion, the price has already surpassed $2.2 each, with a peak breaking $2.5 each. Based on $2.2 each, the actual market value of BIO has reached $2.86 billion. What does everyone think? Is the market value inflated, or is there still significant room for growth? In simple terms, would you buy BIO at $2.2 each?

I’d like to share my personal opinion for everyone's entertainment. If the price of BIO is below $2 when trading starts on Binance, I might buy some for short-term trading, but I won't hold it long-term. If the opening price reaches $3 or more, with an actual market value above $4 billion, I will not buy anymore. Because I feel that above a market value of $4 billion, even if there is profit, there won't be much room for exponential growth, and the risk of getting stuck at that point exceeds my risk assessment. Of course, the project has raised a lot, and they will definitely leverage their financial advantage in the market, showcasing that miracles can happen with effort. It all depends on whether new entrants are willing to get involved.

I viewed BIO on my computer and phone. What does everyone think?
