The crypto market is showing a negative trend, with selling pressure from Bitcoin investors who have held the asset for 6–12 months. This selling activity, which began after the launch of spot ETFs in early 2024, has weighed on Bitcoin prices. However, strong demand has kept Bitcoin’s value in the $90K–$100K range. Interestingly, long-term holders who have held Bitcoin for more than a year have shown minimal selling activity. The ‘Binary CDD’ indicator shows a decrease in selling of old Bitcoin in December compared to November. This indicates that many long-term holders are optimistic about further price increases before deciding to sell.
