#Green_lamp Tell me honestly: what did you think when you first heard about Play-to-Earn: "Why not try to earn money while lying on the couch?" Sounds cool, right? But the reality turned out to be a little... different.
🎮 My first step into this world
I went into Axie Infinity, a cult crypto game. I bought a couple of heroes (as always, I feel sorry for the money, but curiosity is stronger). I started fighting, sweating, learning. And what? I earned pennies. It's like trying to save up for a car by handing in bottles.
💡 This is what I understood:
1. Crypto games are not a freebie. It's not "sit-play-count money".
2. Not all games will survive. Today your hero is worth $100, tomorrow – 0.
3. Without investments – nowhere. Even to “just try”, you need money.
🔥 Why bother with this?
You can really earn money. But you have to work hard: learn mechanics, monitor the project's economics.
Early entry is gold. The earlier you enter, the greater the chances of recouping your investment (or losing everything, but that's just details).
😅 My emotions
It was fun. Sometimes I was angry as never before. Once I almost broke my laptop when I realized that a $50 hero now costs as much as a lunch in a cafe.
🧠 Three main conclusions:
1. Don't invest money if you are ready to cry when you lose it.
2. Don't fall for the hype - 90% of games are just bubbles.
3. Play for fun. If you make money, consider yourself lucky.
Are you ready to take the risk?
Try it. Or just read my notes – I’ve already stepped on all possible rakes.
And yes, if you suddenly decide to enter the game, remember: "it's easier to lose money than to get it back."
💬 Write what you think! Or, if you think crypto games are a scam, tell your story.
