Airdrop of 310 million #HYPE tokens on November 29, initially valued at 1.2 billion USD at a price of 3.90 USD/token. Currently, with a price close to 9$, the airdrop value can be calculated to have reached 2.79 billion USD.
Uniswap ($UNI) was the largest airdrop, distributing UNI worth 6.43 billion USD on September 16, 2020,
This value was priced at an ATH token price of 42.88 USD.
- After Uniswap's Airdrop, it was one of the biggest events that opened up DeFi Summer 2021, and the airdrop timing was also at the end of 2020, similar to Hyper Liquid at the end of 2024?
- If the price of $HYPE continues to rise to around 20$ (hypothetical scenario), then the valuation of the Hype airdrop will surpass Uni and will be mentioned as the largest airdrop project in history?
- I believe that the Hype airdrop will have great momentum for DeFi in the near future, besides @HyperliquidX, @Polymarket and @pumpdotfun are two extremely strong user projects recently, Polymarket has a hint that it might release a token - not sure if there will be another airdrop, while Pumpfun likely will not.
