Sometimes I feel that trading is really interesting. We might have worked hard for a whole year and achieved relatively good performance, but not every month's results are satisfactory. Most of the time is spent in flat, fluctuating, or losing conditions, with only a few key months presenting opportunities, and we manage to seize those opportunities. Trading is a repetitive process. After experiencing this process, sometimes we might think: if I had known this earlier, wouldn't it have been easier to trade only during those few months? Of course, this is hindsight and something that couldn't possibly exist.
