Today's Market Analysis

BTC is frighteningly strong. Just as I was about to write an article, I found it surged to 80,000 in one go. I like to place my orders with lucky numbers like 666 and 888, and I added to my short position at 79,888. From both a technical and price perspective, it's impossible for me to chase long positions here. I also hold a long position in BTC at 57,000, but I didn't open much. Currently, the number of long positions is almost equal to the short positions, so I'll hold onto the long position at the bottom. I don't feel anything with the shorts at this level. Note, I am not purely short; taking shorts here is partly because the price has reached this level, and it would be unreasonable not to short. On the other hand, it's to hedge some profits. Right now, aside from Bitcoin, it's hard to short other coins.

ETH is incredibly strong, with a four-hour chart showing a steady rise. It's like slowly helping an old lady up the stairs, and I don't dare to touch it randomly. The exchange rates for these are also rising as expected. Don't short ETH; if you're aggressive, you can go long. Bitcoin has reached a historical high, and ETH is still 1,000 away from 4,800.

SOL will also not be shorted; I would be afraid it might go crazy and hit 300.

Altcoins: If you're aggressive, I called for ORDI and NEIRO's initial positions yesterday, and today the small letters have seen over 20% gains. Holding the spot is already about to double, which is very comfortable. BOME is also slowly rising, and I have positions in BOME as I am quite optimistic about it. Of course, I am most optimistic about small letters.

Currently, longs should definitely be about buying the dips in altcoins. When it reaches a suitable dip position, make sure to enter the market and ensure you stay on the bus during this crazy upward movement.

If you are purely short without any hedging, then manage your liquidation risk. Add a position near 80,000, and if it drops to around 77,000, and you feel scared, take half off and do a small trade.

If you are not purely short and still hold onto your longs, keep this short position because I am holding it. According to my trading system, this position is meant to be shorted. If you are scared, just cut losses and admit defeat. The original view still stands: opening a short position here may not guarantee a profit, but it will definitely not lead to a loss.
