In 2023, EF spending climbed to $134.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 28%. Among these, L1 R&D (30.4%), community development (18.5%), and internal operations (36.2%) dominated, reflecting EF's relentless focus on Ethereum's infrastructure.

Notably, the proportion of EF's investments in emerging institutions has significantly increased, reaching 35.2% (approximately $474 million). Its financial reserves have also grown considerably, currently around $970.2 million, of which 81.3% are crypto assets, with the vast majority being ETH, accounting for 0.26% of the total ETH supply.

Projects fully supported by EF, such as Argot Collective, Geodework, L2BEAT, and 0xPARC, are driving the development of Ethereum's core technology and decentralized scaling. Meanwhile, EF's Ecosystem Support Program (ESP) continues to inject funds into the ecosystem, with EF contributing a total of $240.3 million from 2022 to 2023, making up the largest share of ecosystem investments.

Against the backdrop of Ethereum's continued expansion, EF's strategic investments will undoubtedly accelerate the innovation of Ethereum's infrastructure and market share.
