Sweet, a creator of gamified digital collection experiences, brings Major League Soccer (MLS) to Sui. The company and its sports franchise partner is launching MLS QUEST, an online experience where fans collect Key Play of the Game Medallions, digital assets featuring officially licensed broadcast footage from the MLS and MLS Players Association. Fans can trade, sell, gift, and use their medallions to complete real match quests, level up, and unlock exciting rewards.
Players can find MLS Medallions across Official MLS QUEST Pickup Zones, which include channel partners, the Trade Lounge, and a marketplace. The quest encourages fans to interact with MLS' extended set of online properties, increasing engagement and helping fans discover features and resources.

Sweet has built broadscale technology that powers many multi-year programs across global sports organizations, including the National Hockey League, NBA Teams (Cleveland Cavaliers, the NY Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks), F1 teams (McLaren Racing, Red Bull Racing), and the Association of Tennis Pros (ATP). MLS QUEST is the next major league to leverage Sweet’s broadscale user acquisition technology.
In its effort to prioritize the user experience, Sweet chose Sui to power MLS QUEST for the blockchain's ability to deliver better performance, from fast transaction times to more efficient, collectible minting. MLS fans and collectors will protect licensed authenticity by minting video-based sports memorabilia on Sui, while leveraging its advanced NFT technology. Through the Kiosk primitive, Sweet will customize transfer rules for the MLS QUEST collectibles, ensuring fan satisfaction and ownership. In addition, sponsored transactions mean fans will have a frictionless experience in MLS QUEST, acquiring collectibles without the need for a deep understanding of the blockchain technology it’s built on.
Sweet's adoption of Sui shows the network's rich possibilities for hosting engaging digital experiences and making the connection between sports' franchises and their fans.
