According to ChainCatcher, the Wallet application on Telegram now supports law enforcement evidence collection. Its webpage instructs law enforcement agencies to submit requests through a designated email address, and states: "Wallet will carefully review each law enforcement request and cooperate to disclose information on a case-by-case basis in accordance with its internal policies and applicable laws. All communications and requests must be fully verified."

It is reported that Telegram does not directly run the Wallet application. It is an encrypted wallet and a small program within the Telegram ecosystem. These developments occurred as Telegram strengthened its efforts to simplify its privacy policy worldwide.
