Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, once again announced this morning that it has increased its holdings of 21.88 Bitcoins, worth 200 million yen (approximately US$1.2 million). After this transaction, the total number of Bitcoins held by the company reached 225.6 BTC, worth more than 14.5 million US dollars, the average purchase price is about US$62,800, and the current floating profit is about 2.8%.

Since April of this year, Metaplanet has steadily acquired more BTC. The company has adopted Bitcoin as its primary financial reserve asset, with the goal of maximizing shareholder value through strategic, permanent accumulation of Bitcoin. Metaplanet's stock price has also risen significantly over the past week as Bitcoin has rebounded. According to data from Yahoo Finance, Metaplanet's stock price rose from 84 yen to 114 yen in the past week, an increase of more than 35%.
