According to TechFlow, on January 6, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a blog post that the company is confident that it has mastered the method of building AGI and predicts that AI agents will substantially change corporate output in 2025.
Altman reviewed ChatGPT's two-year history, with users growing from 100 million to over 300 million. He emphasized that OpenAI is developing superintelligence, accelerating scientific discovery and innovation, and bringing social prosperity.
Regarding the "lightning dismissal" incident last November, Altman called it a governance failure, but thanked Ron Conway and Brian Chesky for their support, saying that without them, OpenAI might have fallen apart.
