According to Odaily Planet Daily, last year Trump promised that all remaining Bitcoins would be produced in the United States, but industry insiders believe this is very difficult. American miners currently account for 40% of the global mining power.

Matthew Sigel, head of digital asset research at VanEck, said it would be impossible to move the remaining 60% of Bitcoin mining power to the United States because it would mean that other mining operations around the world would have to shut down.

Compass Mining Chief Revenue Officer CJ Burnett noted that the U.S. lacks the power infrastructure and low-cost energy to be the only location to mine all the remaining bitcoins. Bitcoin mining remains a globally distributed network.
