WalletConnect and Binance Airdrop Event
WalletConnect is an open protocol for secure communication between wallets and Dapps. The protocol uses a bridge server to establish a remote connection between two applications or devices to relay payloads, which are symmetrically encrypted by a shared key between the two peers. The connection is initiated by a peer that displays a QR code or a deep link with a standard WalletConnect URI and is established when the other party approves this connection request.
WalletConnect has currently launched the first season airdrop activity. Users' past activities on the network, including connections, signatures, and on-chain activities will be evaluated. The first season registration officially ended on October 18 and will be checked and claimed in November. The initial total amount of WCT tokens is 1 billion, of which 18.5% of the tokens will be allocated to the first season airdrop.
