According to Arkham data, a wallet address marked as the German Government BKA transferred about 6,500 BTC to an address starting with bc1q 4 hours ago.
The new wallet then transferred the newly received funds in batches of 500 BTC across four transactions, two of which were sent to cryptocurrency exchanges such as Kraken and Bitstamp, while the other two were transferred to unmarked private addresses.
It is reported that the crypto wallet has held nearly 50,000 BTC since February 2024. These funds were seized from the pirated movie website operator Movie2k and currently still hold 43,359 BTC, worth US$2.83 billion.
