The likely approval timeline for S-1 forms for Ethereum spot ETFs is before the end of June. At least, this is the opinion of Nate Gerasi, president of the investment advisory company ETF Store:

“*I don't know*, but I'll be surprised if the S-1 spot ETFs aren't approved by the end of the month...

There is no reason for delay.

The hard work has already been done following the eth futures ETF and the BTC spot ETF.”

If you listen to the opinion of crypto trader and blogger Michael van de Poppe, it is the approval of S-1 forms that can be the start of the run of the#ETHprice to the new ATH.

Earlier on June 10, we recall,#TheBlockwrote that issuers of spot Ethereum ETFs are awaiting the first comments from the SEC on S-1 forms this week. And they were waiting for these comments by the end of last week, June 7. Last week, on June 5, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler made it clear on#CNBCthat the agency is in no hurry to finalize the approval and launch of spot Ethereum ETFs. There is information circulating on the sidelines that the regulator’s comments on Forms S-1 should be expected on June 14, that is, this Friday and a week late.

Following this news, the#ProSharesfund filed its S-1 filing for the Ethereum Spot ETF today. On June 7, the fund applied for a spot Ethereum ETF, like other issuers - abandoning#ETHstaking.
