⁉️ KyberSwap Hackers Start Laundering Money Through Tornado Cash
According to on-chain data, the hacker behind the KyberSwap DEX attack has begun looking for ways to disperse assets. Specifically, on the afternoon of December 3, the attacker transferred more than 2,010 ETH from Arbitrum to Ethereum, then sent 1,000 ETH to Tornado Cash.
Previously, the Kyber Network team flatly rejected the unreasonable requests and announced that they would find a way to compensate 100% of the users who suffered losses. This action by the hacker also shows that no agreement will be reached with Kyber Network.
Although Tornado Cash was placed on the US sanctions list and arrested two founders for allegedly abetting money laundering through crypto. However, the project is still active and continues to be used by both users and hackers for different purposes.
