Two Whales Ran to Their Wallet and Collected the Popular Altcoin!
Two newly opened cryptocurrency wallets aroused interest with the purchase of altcoins worth nearly $10 million.
According to a post shared by on-chain data and analytics account The Data Nerd on June 1, the Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution was heavily bought on Arbitrum (ARB) as soon as the two cryptocurrency wallets were opened.
The first of the wallets in question purchased 4.4 million ARBs worth $4.93 million through Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. Another whale wallet purchased 5 million ARB worth $5.6 million.
The move of the whales shows that they are expecting a rise in Arbitrum.
According to CoinGecko data, Arbitrum, which has experienced a decrease of only 0.1% in the last 24 hours, is traded at $ 1.13 at the time of writing.
BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes was also one of the big actors purchasing altcoins today. Hayes increased his holdings by purchasing half a million dollars of Pendle (PENDLE) during the day.
