Veteran trader Peter Brandt warns of ‘crypto’s biggest disaster coming’👉
Veteran trader Peter Brandt has issued a stark warning about the future of crypto staking, calling it “crypto’s biggest disaster yet.” He predicts major disasters, bankruptcies, and personal financial losses in the industry. His warning comes after the SEC approved a spot Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF).
In a follow-up post by X, he explained how he sees the end of crypto staking: “Staking = owning/borrowing/leveraging an asset (ETH/SOL/whatever) to lend it out for income (ie: interest) = central banks/government treasuries eventually involved = regulatory power over staking = the end of staking.”
This isn’t the first time the veteran trader has warned about crypto activity. Earlier this month, he warned that the SEC would crack down on crypto staking activity, predicting that “it’s going to be a bloodbath.” He believes that crypto staking activity is “extremely illegal.”
