Shiba Inu Community Demands Shibarium Recognition from Ethereum Founder Vitalik

The Shiba Inu community has called on Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin to recognize Shibarium as a major Ethereum layer-2 network.

The Shiba Inu has continued to attract significant attention from industry leaders and key market analysts. For example, Jeremie Davinci, one of the earliest known adopters of Bitcoin, has persistently urged investors to invest in SHIB.

Although it started as a meme coin, Shiba Inu has evolved into a decentralized ecosystem and earned a place among the top crypto assets on the market. However, despite its growing importance, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin often missed many opportunities to appreciate the project's durability.

Neglecting Shibarium

Such a situation occurred recently when Buterin highlighted Ethereum's latest upgrade, the Dencun hard fork, which aims to further reduce gas fees on Ethereum layer-2 networks. However, for this to take effect, these layer-2 networks must adopt the blob transaction protocol that ships with Dencun.

Buterin presented a list of notable layer 2 networks and their Ethereum sending and token exchange fees to illustrate the current fee rates observed in the Ethereum ecosystem, including layer 2 summaries.
