As reported by Mars Finance, Franklin Templeton Digital Assets has introduced the rise of Bitcoin Ordinals in a new guidebook.
It says that over the past year, there has been a renaissance in Bitcoin innovation and development activities. The positive innovation momentum is mainly driven by Bitcoin NFTs (Ordinals), new fungible tokens (such as BRC-20 and Runes), Bitcoin Layer 2, and other Bitcoin DeFi.
The firm looked at the acceleration of Bitcoin NFT activity last year after Casey Rodarmor released the Ordinal protocol and listed an increase in trading volume and market capitalization of the Ordinal series on the market. NFT market, highlighting NodeMonkes, Runestone, Bitcoin Puppets, Ordinal Maxi Biz and Bitmaps.
