A famous cryptocurrency analyst thinks that the Dogecoin meme is preparing for a major price explosion in the coming weeks.
Ali Martinez told his 50,700 followers on the X platform that historical models suggest DOGE could hit $1 by mid-April.
The move would represent a nearly 500% increase from Dogecoin's current price.
Looking at the chart, he seems to predict that DOGE will increase rapidly over the next month after breaking above resistance, similar to what happened in 2017 and 2021.
DOGE is trading at $0.167 at the time of writing.
Martinez is not the only analyst predicting DOGE price will reach $1.
Earlier this week, the analyst known as Altcoin Sherpa told 209,800 followers that DOGE could reach $1 with help from billionaire Elon Musk.
