Why do people like to gamble on memes?
The reason is actually very simple. Memes that have emerged on the chain, such as Pepe, now have a market value of 4 billion, and Neiro is 800 million. If you initially entered when it was valued at 1 million dollars, then Pepe has increased 4000 times, and Neiro has increased 800 times.
In contrast, infrastructure projects/VC projects listed on exchanges have a valuation of over 1 billion when they go live; even during a meme coin bull market, how much more room for growth is there?
The core issue is the odds. Trading in the crypto space, especially with altcoins, carries a bit of gambling nature; if the odds are too low, who would still participate❗️
Of course, meme coins can easily be rugged, but as long as you invest a small amount, losing it isn't a big deal. On the other hand, those infrastructure/VC projects, if you invest a large sum and it gets cut in half, it can be much more damaging.
